A narrow cobblestone alley in a European old town captured in photographic realism, the stones slick with a recent drizzle that reflects scattered warm lights from wrought-iron lanterns. Elegant signs for boutique cafes and patisseries hang from weathered stone walls, and a tiny café table waits with a single pristine white porcelain espresso cup and a plate of delicate pastries. The scene is illuminated by soft blue-hour ambient light mixed with warm lamp glow, producing rich contrasts and gentle reflections. Shot from a low, slightly off-center perspective, with sharp foreground detail and a subtly blurred distance, the mood is romantic and cinematic, emphasizing sophisticated, scenic wandering for a travel blog feature image.

About Globetrotting Korean

Hi. My name is Seongyeon Hwang – a.k.a. Yeon – who are passionate with traveling (at least of now, the other day you may find this site closed) and one day aims to travel at least 150+ countries in my lifetime, before I go into a wheelchair.

The purpose of this website is mainly to reflect my overall adventure. Yes, you can call it as, a “diary”, and I aim to write where I have been and what I witnessed, what I ate, and what i felt, as genuinely as possible, since I have a serious forgetfulness (no joke). Ah, and to practice my English skills. (also no joke)

But I also like to give raw new information to others, which often does not exist in Google and even our ai agents like ChatGPT or Gemini find it hard to answer. Information that can only be known by being there, by meeting with locals. Because i still beleive, that even in this world where every single bit of places are already explored, exposed, and easy to find on the internet, there is still a place left to explore, hidden, undiscovered, where no one has yet left his or her trace.

I am not a polyglot, or an experienced adventurer, and I am definitely not a good writer or photographer. I am just a random Asian who travel from time to time spending all my payroll and regretting in a flight returning to Korea. But it will be memorable if my post can help even one or two travelers who cross the same path I crossed.

An aerial, photographic view of a meticulously arranged travel flat lay on a pale linen bedsheet: a crisp white laptop displaying a paused travel vlog thumbnail, a slim black mirrorless camera with a metal lens, a folded metro map marked with tiny red circles, a slim phone showing a navigation app, and a delicate ceramic cup of green tea. Soft overcast daylight from an unseen window creates even, diffused lighting with almost no harsh shadows. The composition uses asymmetrical balance, with objects grouped in subtle diagonals that guide the eye. The mood is thoughtful and organized, capturing the behind-the-scenes planning of a sophisticated travel blogger’s daily life on the road.
